I bought it! And read it in two days! But now I can't get my e-hands on Spring because it's not available in the U.S.! ARG! When will it be? This is torture?
End of 2012?!?! Oh no! International publishing can be such a pain in the butt. I guess I'll order a UK copy! Because I am definitely NOT waiting until the end of the year.
While we're on the subject, when is Summer due out? :)
Good news for your American fans! The Book Depository, a UK book site sells an EPUB version (DRMed) of Spring that I could download! Thank goodness for technology, right?
What a crafty sod you are. Michael. I look forward to your opinion of Spring. As for Summer: I delivered the final, final, final edit yesterday (I HATE editing!) together with the associated artwork (oigeonGrams, graphs showing the alternative WunZian and TooZian interpretations of the accumulation of Qi, that sort of stuff) and I understand that the book will be out in er, the summer (July I think) with Fall following at the end of the year.
Hi, my name is Rod Rees and I'm a writer of science fiction/fantasy. My first book 'The Demi-Monde: Winter' is due for publishing on Quercus on 6th January 2011. It's being billed as a 'steampunk thriller'. Aside from writing my other ambitions are for my two brilliant daughters to be everything they can be (and that's a lot!)and for my wonderful wife Nelli to be as successful as she deserves to be (her book on glass jewellery making is out in November). I HATE surveillance and the intrusion of the State in our lives. I believe in Kondratieff Cycles and that history beats crystal balls, astrology and tarot all to hell when it comes to predicting the future. I believe there's nothing new in the world, it's all just a re-tread.

ReplyDeleteYeah, sorry, Michael ... Spring isn't out until the end of 2012 in the US!
